Adrien Durand

After playing with a post-punk band in places as diverse as a bowling alley, a nuclear bunker, a beach, unheated squats, and a museum of contemporary art, Adrien Durand worked for festivals and organised numerous concerts in Paris.

He got into writing about music when he began to recount his tales from behind the scenes on a blog for Vice. After a few audiovisual projects, he created the zine Le Gospel in 2018, talking about punk, rap, techno and ambient music, and which is about to publish its first critical essay on the career of Kanye West. He regularly collaborates with the Inrocks whilst working on writing a documentary about French outsider music. He dreams of interviewing Young Thug, Courtney Love and Spike Lee – but not necessarily in that order.
